This picture from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region was posted on Facebook today. These are some of the lucky ones that got evacuated. I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to KNOW that your animal is trapped up there in that inferno and that there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
